I've been meaning to re-start it forever. You're e-mail is my inspiration. I'll start answering 5 e-mails a day.
No. I won't respond individually again. Twitter is the best place to catch me more one-on-one.
How do you have a job in sports? Cowboys should be 35 point underdogs? Dude, you should host a cooking show or something. Maybe a show on herb gardening or scrap booking because you obviously know jack squat about sports. When are you going to learn to quit running your mouth?
You should resign and give your job to the Twitter chick.

Fun Katy is a Cowboys fan. We were talking about a college game that had a 35 point spread. I was teasing my friend that her team should be 35 point underdogs. I didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to take me seriously that any NFL team should ever be a 35 point underdog. I was wrong.
I know receive a thousand email a day, but you once told me over lunch that you read them all because your listeners pay for your daughters' college, so here's a great story for you. I will be brief:
Two weeks ago I texted a buddy "Colon tests positive". Thinking nothing of it, my life has been somewhat surprising. My wife has been cleaning more, more patient, and quite "touchy/feely".
I asked her why she was acting so strange. She replied, "Don't get mad at me, but I read your text." She began to well up and cry. "I will be here to support you no matter what happens, you can beat cancer, I know you can." After I asked her where she got that, she mentioned the text, "Colon tests positive."
It broke my heart to try to explain to her who Bartolo Colon.
Love the show, keep up entertaining us all.
Good story. Obviously you're a different Jeff from the last e-mail.
Doug - You can't really blame ASU Fans for not showing up! It's ASU's fault due to these circumstances:
Cardinals game School/work night Republican Convention on TV
Did ASU have a choice of game times?
Rusty Life Long Tempe resident & ASU Season ticket holder
BYU sold out on the same night. Obviously it wasn't a school night in Provo and all TVs weren't working.
Please understand Rusty, I respect you greatly for being a season ticket holder. It's none of my business what different families do with their money. What I can't stand is the ASU fan that complains about the coaches or the stadium or the lack of wins and doesn't go to the game. If fans don't go, ASU will never be better than mediocre.
Here's a question I'd like to ask: Obviously, Coach Ken has poured over hours of tapes to make a decision between Skelton and Kolb. Additionally, before they gave him millions of dollars to pick him up for Philly, they must have watched lots of tape then also. So, was be better before? Did he get worse? How did we end up here now? I as all for the Kolb deal and it's such a bust if doesn't make it.
All excellent questions.
I think some of it is Kolb's not as good as the Cardinals thought. However, I think most of it is Kolb is scared of getting hurt. I don't want him to read that because I don't mean it as an attack on his character and I know it sounds like that's exactly what I'm doing.
Kolb has lost two starting jobs for two different organizations due to injury. I see a quarterback who's trying to get rid of the ball before he gets hurt or running to escape the hit. Unfortunately, great quarterbacks know they're going to get hit and complete the pass anyway.
Again, the trade was a mistake on the part of the Cardinals that they'll all have to deal with for the rest of their careers. There's no sugar-coating that point. In their defense, it doesn't look like to me Kolb is the same player they traded for.
