I have a few questions for Cardinals fans: Did Kevin Kolb rack up 14 yards of offense and no first downs in the third quarter of Sunday's win over Seattle? Was Kevin Kolb the one who threw a bad interception while trying to throw a ball away? Did Kevin Kolb roll over on John Skelton's ankle and force him out of the game? I didn't think so.

Answer me this: When your team is trailing in the fourth quarter and hasn't been able to move the ball at all in the second half, why in the name of common sense would you boo the one player capable of getting your team back in the game?

There are two possible answers: A) You know nothing about the game of football. Or B) you do know something, but are so hell-bent on hating a guy because he got a big contract a year ago and hasn't lived up to expectations, that you can't bear the thought of pulling for him.

Either way, for those who booed Kolb, it was a low-class move. It's not like he's been Derek Anderson bad.

Fortunately, Kolb tuned out the white noise and mostly led the game-winning 80-yard drive, including the go-ahead touchdown pass to Andre Roberts.

After the 20-16 win, Kolb said he wasn't aware of the jeers at the time, but even after he was told about them, he shrugged it off.

"It's a ‘what can you do for me now league'. I understand that. Hopefully people learned a little bit about my personality today," Kolb said.

Kolb's teammates were just as excited for him. The first thing veteran safety Adrian Wilson addressed when he walked up to the post-game podium: "I want to talk about Kevin Kolb. Let's talk about how poetic he was."

Larry Fitzgerald seemed to take it a step further. "Kevin's our guy now. We're gonna ride with him."

Seeing as how Kolb's teammates are behind him, maybe it's time that fans are too.

I'm not writing on whether or not Kolb should've been named the starter instead of Skelton. I'm not even saying he should be the guy once Skelton is healthy enough to play.

What I am saying is that Kolb appears to be the starting quarterback for the immediate future. Maybe fans need to get over themselves and whatever expectations they've placed on him (realistic or not), and pull for him to succeed.

Get over your bitterness, frustration, ignorance, stupidity or whatever it is that had you pulling against the most important player on the field at the most important part of the game, and try something original, like cheering for him.

Here's to Kevin Kolb stepping up his game in crunch time. Hopefully Cardinals fans will start doing the same.

First off, AZ fans are ignorant... Second, I do not understand what Skelton has done to gain such a high level of admiration. I mean he goes down and you would think we were watching the greatest QB of all time taking his final lap off the field. Guys hugging him, bumping him, fist gripping him.. Have I missed something. John Skelton, not Drew Brees...right? Kolb is made of glass so he has been hurt. But.. he has proven to be a good QB... moreso than Skelton. I hope today opens the door for Kolb...

No. SOME AZ fans are ignorant, but no more than any other city. Yes booing Kolb was low class and embarassing, but if you think a portion of fans in Philly or New York wouldn't have done the same thing you're the one who is ignorant.

What is this third grade? AZ fans are notorious nationwide for being the WORST, mot unknowledgeable fans in sports. What is one good reason to boo Kolb as he comes out? What is one good reason to be excited about Skelton? When Tebow came in today in NY he got a standing ovation.. he wasn't booed. Fact is fans are dumb here. All fans- no.. but most- yes- they don't get it. Not saying they should have been on their feet jumping for joy, but booing? why?

Dumb is harsh- fans have no clue about sports here.. that is more on par... poor showing today by the crowd.. As for the Cards- can we just start the Lindley era?

I was at the game, and the booing of Kolb was an embarassment. But he was brought in because Skelton was hurt, people. He was our last hope to win the game, he's playing for OUR TEAM.At least give him a chance to screw up before you boo him.

Are we all done drinking the Skelton Koolaid?
I have said from the beginnng Kolb is far better then Skelton however with our offensive line... Skelton should hold up better. If the Cards had an offensive line and played to Kolbs strngths sorry Big John doesnt hold a candle... just goes to show Whiz is not a good QB evaluator

    Whiz the Kolb Killer.
Only successful when Hailey ran the offense. Not saying Kolb is the next Warner, but i'm hoping he is even better. I'm not a big fan of John Skelton, I don't wish him bad luck but i hope Kolb is the starter rest of the way. I can already see it now though, Cards lose in NE because of Brady and Co. and people will be calling for Kolb's head. Remember NE vs. AZ in the snow when Warner was QB? Just give the guy a chance! Whiz doesn't want Kolb to be successful. Even the preseason was a joke. How can he even attempt to win a job when you pulled him after throwing 3 passes.

I can't stand 80% of the fans here, ignorance is only the tip of the iceberg, most are stubborn, base their decisions on one or two plays, and have little to no intelligence or facts of the game for that matter. Not to mention plenty of Cardinals fans think football is game that is played only with your feet. Fans that booed Kolb when entering for an injured player was one of the most embarrassing things to witness, no wonder the national media give us no love, our "fans" or a complete disgrace.

    I didnt boo, but...
as soon as I saw Kolb warming up I was like... "Oh great" (in a sarcastic way). When he did a awful job in the pre-season you suckers were critical of him. He has this 1 game winning drive and its like a fire ignited under your backsides again. In Skelton's defense, let me say this: The Cards abandoned the Run Game because the O Line could not get a push. Skelton took hits all game long cuz the line couldnt protect. I honestly dont think that either QB is better than the other. If anything John has more of my pull cuz he wins games and Kolb hasnt.
