Nick Davila threw for 301 yards and seven touchdowns and the Arizona Rattlers hung on for a 56-49 win over the Chicago Rush at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. Sunday.

Davila hooked up with Rod Windsor on a 32-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter that put Arizona up 56-35, but Chicago would answer.

The Rush scored on their next play from scrimmage -- a 36-yard touchdown pass from Luke Drone to Reggie Gray that cut the Rattlers' lead to 14.

Arizona's next drive would stall deep in their own territory and Garrett Lindholm missed on a 62-yard field goal attempt that Gray returned to the Rush 18-yard line. Three plays later, Gray hauled in another strike from Drone, this one from 32 yards, and with under six minutes to play, the Rush were within one score at 56-49.

Chicago's Josh Pleasant would then recover an onside kick and the Rush would proceed to advance the ball inside the Arizona five-yard line. But on a third down and goal from the Rattlers' four-yard line, Drone fumbled and the ball squirted back to midfield before Chicago recovered.

On fourth and goal from the 25, Drone hit Gray, but the receiver was stopped by Arizona's Arkeith Brown at the six-yard line with only :32 to play.

The Rattlers then ran out the clock for their fifth straight win and pushed their record to a league-best 8-1 in the process.

Davila scattered his seven scoring strikes to four different receivers, including Windsor, who had three touchdowns to go along with his 10 catches for 186 yards.

More impressively, according to Arizona head coach Kevin Guy, Davila did it all while feeling under the weather.

During the Rattlers' winning streak, Davila has completed over 70 percent of his passes (97-of-138) for 1,235 yards and 33 touchdowns. He hasn't been intercepted during the streak.

Arizona returns home to Ak-chin Field at US Airways Center Saturday, May 25, to host the Iowa Barnstormers (4-5). Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
