We admit we did a double take during the opening
ceremonies
of the London Olympics when FLOTUS (is that even a word?)
Michelle Obama was captured by television cameras sitting
next to former Phoenix Suns forward Grant Hill.
But we shouldn't have been surprised since apparently the duo are best friends forever -- or at least that's what Mrs. Obama said during a campaign event last week in Springfield, Massachusetts.
"I want to adopt you as my younger brother, all right?" Mrs. Obama said. "I won't say son yet. I don't think I'm that old. But he is an amazing individual, and we had a terrific time."
Oh, in case you're wondering, the First Lady is 48 years of age, while Hill won't hit 40 until October.
