Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie had a reputation for being an incapable unwilling tackler in Arizona, a trait that helped lead to him being traded prior to last season.

Well, folks, it appears DRC is afraid no more!

Thursday night, in the Eagles' preseason opener, the former Cardinal took a shot at Steelers QB Byron Leftwich that will, well, get the poor (relatively speaking, of course) guy fined.

The hit can be seen below, courtesy of SBNation.com:

Ouch.

While everything about the hit -- from the cornerback launching himself into the QB after he had thrown his pass to, well, pretty much that -- was against the rules, at least DRC was willing to actually hit somebody.

Right?
