Worst play in baseball history? You decide (it is)
Our athletes, many of whom are the best our species has to offer for their particular sport, make even the most difficult of plays look easy at times.
However, every now and then what should be an easy play is made to look difficult, and from that point there is always the chance a play will be botched so badly it's funny.
The Arizona Diamondbacks were part of one such play in 2003, when David Dellucci's issues in the outfield led to a hilariously awful series of events on the basepath.
H/T to DeadSpin for bringing this magical piece of video to our attention, and H/T to Ruben Rivera for everything he did on the play.
