New contracts...new houses.
Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Miguel Montero signed a $60 million deal with the team five months ago. Now, he's spent some of that hard earned dough on a new house mansion, according to Phoenix Business Journal.
The 10,800 square-foot home, still under construction, previously was listed for $5.3 million. It has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
We at the Haboob have always wondered about mansions, and why they have more bathroooms than bedrooms? Who needs eight bathrooms? The friggin' Brady Bunch had six kids, and they had one!
Cardinals DE Calais Campbell got a new contract himself prior to the start of the 2012 season, and has bought a $585,000 condo in Tempe.
Maybe soon, we'll be able to start Haboob blogging from somewhere other than our older brother's "guest house".
Well, anyway, congrats on the new homes, fellas.
