Detroit Lions TE injures self trying to discipline puppy

Sometimes football players get hurt doing something other than playing football.
Like, for instance, trying to stop a puppy from peeing inside of the house.
It’s true. Allegedly, anyway.
Joe Fauria said he sprained his ankle after missing bottom two stairs while trying to stop his 3-month old dog from urinating in the house

The Lions managed to defeat the New York Jets on Sunday without the second-year tight end, so unless it’s a really bad sprain everything should work out just fine.
But alas, it appears there are some folks who are upset…with the dog. With the incredibly adorable dog.
Now I'm only concentrating on getting back on the field ASAP! Please no death threats to Lil' Rufio, he's just a pup! pic.twitter.com/Q1O5QM41RW

It’s OK, we forgive Lil’ Rufio. We’d also like to pet him. And give him all the treats in the world.
