@KenettK was just doing the typical Monday night routine — browsing the sale items in the odds and ends section at the Albertson’s at Scottsdale Road and Carefree Highway. And then, showing the chops of a skilled archaeologist, he dug up something special — something, uh, ancient?
“@KenettK: @MattLeinartQB Found this really timely piece of AZ gear tonight at a grocery store… pic.twitter.com/dgkeVAGzBK” wow great deal!
— Matt Leinart (@MattLeinartQB) November 18, 2014
Matt Leinart last took a snap for the Cardinals on Jan. 3, 2010 in a 33-7 loss to the Green Bay Packers. But a t-shirt with the former first-round pick’s likeness on it is a steal at @KenettK’s north Scottsdale grocery store. Just $12.99 for that baby. “GREAT DEAL,” indeed, Albertson’s manager — a whole $4 off. But how?
Even the quarterback himself had to agree, commenting “wow great deal!” via Twitter.
Since Leinart moved on nearly five years ago, 10 quarterbacks have lined up under center for the Cardinals.
