Karlos Dansby to visit with Arizona Cardinals Wednesday

May 8, 2013, 12:13 AM | Updated: 12:57 am

Given the uncertainty surrounding Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington’s future, it stands to reason the team may look for some insurance at the position.

That insurance, it turns out, could be in the form of a familiar face.

As was first reported by Mike Jurecki and then confirmed by Arizona Sports 620, veteran Karlos Dansby is scheduled to visit with the team Wednesday.

Dansby, who turns 32 in November, spent the first six years of his career in Arizona but spent the last three in Miami with the Dolphins.

The former second-round pick racked up 134 total tackles and one sack last season, but was released by the Dolphins due to his hefty salary.

For his career, Dansby has tallied 709 total tackles, 31.5 sacks and 11 interceptions.
