MACAU (AP) – Australia’s Scott Hend won the Macau Open on Sunday for his third Asian Tour victory of the year, closing with a 4-under 67 for a three-stroke victory.
Hend finished at 16 under. He opened with a 74, then shot 64-63 to take a four-stroke lead into the final round.
India’s Anirban Lahiri was second after a 62.
South African star Ernie Els tied for third at 12 under with the Philippines’ Elmer Salvador. Els had a 67, and Salvador shot 66.
