Signed to a minor league contract by the Arizona Diamondbacks earlier this month, veteran left-hander Randy Wolf was impressive Thursday for Triple-A Reno.

The 37-year-old who was outside of baseball in 2013 is now 2-1 with a 3.71 ERA for the Aces.

On Thursday, he mowed through the Salt Lake Bees, a Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim affiliate, allowing just five hits and one run over 6.0 innings.

He struck out four and walked three in the effort, allowing a solo home run as the only score the Bees would tally.

Wolf threw 104 pitches and 65 for strikes on Thursday.
