The Arizona Cardinals and Patrick Peterson have agreed to a new deal that will keep the Pro Bowl cornerback in the desert through 2020.
Peterson tweeted out the news that will make him the highest paid cornerback in NFL history.
The deal will give him roughly $14 million per year.

Peterson has made the Pro Bowl all three years he’s been in the league. He was an All-Pro cornerback in 2013 with 40 tackles, three interceptions and a career-high 30 passes defensed.
The shutdown corner said over the weekend he’s being ‘relieved’ of his offensive duties and would focus strictly on defense.
Peterson becomes the first member of the 2011 draft to agree to a contract extension.
