Let’s be honest, the Arizona Cardinals’ Week 8 matchup with the Cleveland Browns is not exactly must-see TV. At least, no more so than your standard mid-season NFL game.
But now, thanks to the respective teams’ Twitter accounts, the contest may have a bit more juice to it.
Things started off rather innocent, with the Browns promoting their stadium and the Cardinals noting how they’re looking forward to the game.

@Browns @FEStadium Looking forward to Nov 1. We have not seen the #DawgPound since 2003 when @BruceArians was on YOUR sideline!

Then things got a little heated, with the Browns pointing out the last time the Cardinals visited their wonderful city:
.@AZCardinals the #DawgPound is looking forward to it too ❤️ pic.twitter.com/8Yc3bZ4ChG

Now, that clearly was not a good game for the Cardinals (or season — for either team, really), but that did not mean it wasn’t offensive. So, Arizona responded:
.@Browns Wow. Ok. And since then?

We’re going to give the edge to the Cardinals here, and not just because they are our hometown team. Nicely done, and hopefully the actual game is equally entertaining.
