The Arizona State Sun Devils last faced off with UNLV in 2008, with the Rebels winning 23-20 in Sun Devil Stadium.
They’re now scheduled to see each other again.
ASU announced Friday it has scheduled a future home-and-home series with UNLV. The first matchup will be on Sept. 12, 2020 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The teams will face off in Tempe the following year on Sept. 11.
“We are excited to announce this series with UNLV,” ASU vice president for university athletics Ray Anderson said in a press release. “With our scheduling philosophy we are always looking to schedule home-/home series with selected institutions within our geographical footprint. UNLV as an institution and Las Vegas as a destination fit that perfectly. We believe our fan base will enjoy this series.”
Adding UNLV completes ASU’s 2020 non-conference slate, which also includes Northern Arizona University and BYU.
