Central Missouri running back proves sometimes you really do just have to ask

A Central Missouri star and undrafted running back LaVance Taylor is now employed by the Kansas City Chiefs all because of a simple tweet.
@KCChiefs hey my name is LaVance Taylor and I am currently a free agent and I wanted you to check me out.http://t.co/T8sD9L8pTs

And yeah, it worked. He heard back from the Chiefs a few days later and signed a contract.
The #Chiefs have signed LaVance Taylor, RB, Central Missouri.

But don’t go thinking Kansas City just signs any Joe Schmo off the street who tweets at them: Taylor had 1,962 yards and 15 touchdowns last season at Central Missouri and added 38 catches for two touchdowns.
The Chiefs just needed another body to get through training camp after releasing Cyrus Gray and losing Keshawn Hill, but if Taylor miraculously makes their roster, we can’t wait for the movie based on this modern-day twitterverse fairytale.
