Saturday night at Chase Field the Arizona Diamondbacks will celebrate Randy Johnson by retiring jersey No. 51.
The greatest pitcher to ever wear an Arizona uniform, Johnson was recently inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2015. In eight seasons with the D-backs he won 118 games, four Cy Young Awards and one World Series title.
As part of the festivities, the team will wear No. 51 on their batting practice jerseys as well as a No. 51 patch on their game jerseys when they take on the Cincinnati Reds. Along with that, the players will also wear this hat:

It’s a nice touch.
The D-backs say game-used jerseys and equipment will be up for auction after the game. Fifty-thousand fans will receive commemorative Randy Johnson No. 51 jersey retirement shirts.
Johnson’s 51 will join Jackie Robinson’s 42 and Luis Gonzalez’s 20 as the only jersey numbers retired by the team.
