Carly Rae Jepsen sure can craft a catchy pop tune. Her 2012 hit song "Call Me Maybe" has over 450 million views on YouTube. But when it comes to throwing a baseball, the 27-year-old singer should stick to her day job.
Jepsen took the mound to toss out the ceremonial first pitch before the Tampa Bay-Houston baseball game on Sunday.
But when the singer let go of the ball, it managed to travel just a few feet before hitting the ground and slamming into a photographer's camera bag.
Thankfully, Jepsen has a good sense of humor. Following her awful pitch, she sent out a tweet and laughed it off.
So apparently I made ESPN with my fail of a pitch. Lol- Daddy must be so proud. 👌— Carly Rae Jepsen (@carlyraejepsen) July 15, 2013
