Sacha Baron Cohen, left, pretends to fall on a presenter while accepting the "Charlie Chaplin Award for Excellence in Comedy" during the 2013 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 in Beverly Hills, Calif. (Photo by Matt Sayles/Invision/AP)
When Sacha Baron Cohen attends an awards show, it's almost certain someone is getting pranked. Take for instance the 2012 Oscars when he dumped fake ashes of Kim Jong-il on pre-show host Ryan Seacrest.

But that was nothing compared to what was up his sleeve at the 2013 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards over the weekend. This time, someone died -- well, sort of.

While the 42-year-old "Borat" star was onstage accepting his Charlie Chaplin award for excellence in comedy, he had a sudden mishap with 87-year-old Grace Collington, the last living person to have worked with Chaplin.

Cohen was giving his best impression of Chaplin's signature cane dance, when he "accidentally" bumped Collington's wheelchair and launched her off the stage.

"I dedicate my award to her," Cohen immediately told the crowd after the fall.

"Do not try to sue me. If you decide to get the lawyers involved, I will take you down just like I did your granny."

Before you get too up in arms, if you haven't already guessed, it was just a prank. In fact, there isn't even a Grace Collington -- at least, not one who worked with Chaplin. According to Los Angeles Times, the actress was a stuntwoman who was seemingly unhurt from the fall.

The shocked looks on the faces of the celebrity audience were priceless.

No elderly women were hurt in the making of this article.,
