Who was HOT and who was NOT at last night's Grammys
So who covered up in response to "the memo," and who broke the rules on Sunday night? More importantly who dazzled, and who needs to fire their stylist? Here are my picks for Grammy style hits and misses. What do you think?
Red Carpet Style Winners
Carrie Underwood - No surprise here. This country cutie hits a homerun every time! (By the way I'm not talking about the cake topper that doubled as a movie screen.) Underwood showed up in a gorgeous black strapless gown designed by Roberto Cavalli. She looked stunning! What more could I say?
Rihanna - For once she covered up! Who knew she could pull off classy so well? The gorgeous, fiery red, A-line train dress was designed by Azzedine Alaia. Together with her sexy wavy tresses, the look was spectacular!
Kelly Rowland - Watch your back Beyonce! Your Destiny's Child sister is taking the limelight away from you. Rowland looked amazing at the Super Bowl, and Sunday night she proved it was no fluke. She pushed the envelope for appropriate Grammy attire in her Georges Chakra Couture dress, and it rocked!
Red Carpet Style Losers
Florence Welch - What was that??? We're still a month away from St. Patrick's Day, and another eight months away from Halloween. I'll just stop right there.
Carly Rae Jepsen - The gothic look is never flattering. In her defense, she probably doesn't even have a stylist to fire.
Jennifer Lopez - I'm sure many will disagree with me on this one, but I just wasn't checking for it. The Angelina Jolie inspired gown had too much fabric in all the wrong places. I'm guessing it was to overcompensate for the bare leg and shoulder. I just don't understand why she was trying to cover up the rest of her amazing body. And I wish she would retire that bun already! The combination made her look like an old woman trying to hang on to her youth. (Well…maybe she is.)
