On Tuesday, Mark Trumbo was acquired by the Arizona Diamondbacks in a three-team deal that sent Tyler Skaggs and Hector Santiago to the Los Angeles Angels and Adam Eaton to the Chicago White Sox.

But apparently switching teams was just a minor detail for Trumbo, who still showed up at an Angels' charity event Wednesday that he had previously committed to.

While the 27-year-old outfielder had already traded in traditional red for Sedona red, there he was at the Angels Kids Foundation Holiday Party signing caps, jerseys and shirts for some of the team's youngest diehard fans.

Los Angeles' director of communications, Eric Kay, summed up Trumbo's appearance perfectly in a tweet.

It seems the D-backs aren't just getting a guy who can mash 30 home runs and 100 RBI. They're are getting a player who also values his role in the community.
