Jonathan Toews, Blackhawks grant a wish for four-year-old

This is really, really cool.

The Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins were preparing for an outdoor game at Soldier Field on Friday -- the night before the game -- when Chicago captain Jonathan Toews brought a special guest onto the ice.

That skater? None other than a cancer-stricken four year old named Nicholas Skretkowski, wearing a No. 19 jersey with the Captain's 'C' on the sweater's front -- S-K-R-E-T-K-O-W-S-K-I across the back.

Make-A-Wish put the whole evening together for the boy, who has a medical condition called Wilms' tumor and strabismus, according to

"It was great ... not just to be out on the ice with him, but to have him in here with the guys," Toews told

"He seemed a little shy at first, but then kind of got more comfortable. Someone asked him about his favorite team and his favorite players. He seemed like he knew a lot for a little guy."
