Duke, North Carolina come together for moment of silence honoring Dean Smith

Duke-North Carolina is one of the most famous rivalries in college basketball. It’s no secret these two programs bear very little love toward one another.

But Wednesday, before No. 4 Duke hosted No. 14 North Carolina, the two teams came together center-court to honor Dean Smith, the legendary former Tar Heels coach who died last week.

Prior to tipoff at the Duke – UNC game in Cameron, both teams gathered at midcourt for a moment of silence to honor legendary former UNC coach Dean Smith, who died recently.
