KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia (AP) - After his silver in downhill, Christof Innerhofer couldn't stop screaming in delight.

When he added a bronze in super-combined Friday, the colorful Italian skier performed a headstand on the podium.

Innerhofer suffers from so much back pain, he doesn't even train during the summer anymore.

Somehow, though, Innerhofer tied with silver medalist Ivica Kostelic for the third-fastest slalom run in the super-combi. Not bad for a racer who hasn't entered a World Cup slalom in more than two years.

"I didn't believe in myself," said Innerhofer, who stood eighth after the downhill leg. "I didn't think I could race that well in slalom. It was more or less a miracle."

If Innerhofer wins Sunday's super-G, he'll match his haul from the 2011 world championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, when he won a medal of each color.
