Another overtime win for Cardinals

GLENDALE, AZ — The Arizona Cardinals have found a comfort zone.
Strangely enough, it’s in overtime.

Jay Feely booted a 22-yard field goal with 10:56 left in overtime lifting
the Cardinals to a 20-17 win in front of 60,443 fans at University of
Phoenix Stadium.

The winning field goal was set up by a 38-yard punt return by Patrick
Peterson, which gave Arizona a first down on the Cleveland 40-yard line.
Later in the possession, John Skelton hit Larry Fitzgerald on a 32-yard
completion on 3rd down and 6 which took the ball down to the Browns’
4-yard line.

The Cardinals, winners of 6 of their last 7 games to even their record at
7-7, are now 3-0 in overtime this year — all in Glendale. Previously,
Arizona had beaten St. Louis and Dallas in overtime affairs.

Cleveland started quickly, taking the opening kickoff and driving 76
yards down the Cardinals’ throats, culminating in a Peyton Hillis 1-yard
touchdown run to give the Browns a 7-0 lead.

In the third quarter, backup Seneca Wallace hit Greg Little on a 76-yard
touchdown pass to stretch the lead to 17-7. It was the Browns’ longest
play from scrimmage this season.
