The most talked-about, pored-over and analyzed sporting event on the calendar is right around the corner.

Of course, it's the NFL Draft.

Think about it. Once the final snap is taken in the Super Bowl, football's focus shifts completely to the draft. How else could you explain hours of coverage devoted to college kids running around in t-shirts and shorts on the NFL Network?

Here at ArizonaSports.com, we'll do our best between now and April 26th to keep you up to date with all the latest draft-related rumblings, including this year's version of our Mock Tracker. We'll compile the mock drafts from the nation's leading authorities on the NFL Draft and put them all in one place, because we're nice like that.

And, at no extra charge, we'll include who each expert has the Cardinals taking with the 13th overall pick.

    OT in the 1stRd
Riley Reiff if he slips, otherwise Martin or Adams, depending on which Whiz & co like more. Wonder if Grimm is involved in the thinking on this pick after the Levi pick.

    Compared to last year
Is there a way to put in parenthesis what these 'experts' had the Cards to pick in last year's draft? Let alone the years before last. I hardly come across comparisons for these 'experts' in any reading material regarding their draft expertise, and believe it would add more food for the fodder.

    Upshaw from Alabama
The guy is a beast and would make the defense one as well, I saytrade Kolb for OL Help and go get Peyton/Wayne

    No Adams
No Adams...he only had 19 reps at the combine. Omar Bolden had more reps than he did...sad. This guy probably doesn't even know where the gym is at Ohio State. It shows he doesn't treat his position as his craft. Pass on Adams

    1st round pick
Originally I was pushing for the Cards to draft a LT, but looking how deep the draft is at olinemen, I'd be comfortable if they addressed in later rounds. I'd like to see them address the LB position. Courtney Upshaw or Donta Hightower are immediate starters and already have 3-4 experience. Hightower can play inside or out. These guys are beasts! We have Levi back, so we can add a 3rd rounder to develop on the right side. Let's get another monster on the LB rotation.

    Like what ur thinking ugtruth
Since Cards not signing any FA OLBs worth a darn, I say sign a FA LT, please! If Coples and Ingram are gone. Then trade down in 1st, pick up Hightower who can split time and take over for Lenon. Use the 2nd rndr to sign OLB McClellin, Lewis, Irvin or DE Curry. If solid OLBs gone-they can get the 2nd recvr. Maybe Jeffery or Sanu will be avail. If not, I really like the SS out of ND, H Smith. Kid plays with a ton of heart/skill. 3rd-fill the OLB/WR gap and 4th to get OT depth (Potter). I think there might be a wildcard sleeper avail late (Paige-Moss) for interesting depth at OLB.

Upshaw or Hightower. Let's make our defense even stronger.

    LB help needed
The Cards still need a middle LB after last years bad gamble on a trade. Hightower in the middle will free up the OLB's to gamble and rush the passer. Believe it or not - Levi did not look bad the last 6 games of last year and I think the coaches think they can live with him another year. The great coach, Bud Grant, always said the big guys mature late re: coordination and timing. Maybe Levi will come back determined and ready this year. I know this sounds like wishing but I'm willing to leave this choice up to the coaches.

Floyd if Available - If not a LB
If Michael floyd is there at 13, I'd say yes draft him. I don't think he will be though. That said the most effective selection with immediate impact would be one of the top LB's. OL's are a dime a dozen in this draft, get a best player available at 13.
