Coincidence? Running back Michael Bush in Arizona

Mar 13, 2012, 8:37 PM | Updated: Mar 14, 2012, 1:02 am

If there’s one position the Cardinals really don’t need
help at, it’s running back.

With Beanie Wells coming off his first career thousand-
yard season, 2011 second round pick Ryan Williams
returning to health, and playmaker LaRod Stephens-Howling
on the roster, the team would seem to be set in the
backfield.

So why then would one of the best free agent running backs
on the market be in Arizona on day one of free agency?

Maybe it’s nothing, but the Raiders’ Michael Bush
did tweet his arrival in the Valley.

Maybe it’s a coincidence. After all, the weather in
Arizona is great these days, and there’s nothing wrong
with catching a spring training game or hitting the links
for 18 holes.

But would a player of Bush’s caliber really take a
vacation right now, on the first day he can sign with a
new team?
