It's been a full week since Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay and Peyton Manning held their emotional press conference announcing that the future Hall of Famer was done in Indy.

Since then, Manning has embarked on a whirlwind tour of visits that's taken him from Miami to Denver to Phoenix to Indianapolis to Raleigh-Durham, where he's set to meet with the Tennessee Titans.

And in that week, the group of the likeliest cities for Manning to call home has changed a little bit, at least according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Last week, Schefter had the Arizona Cardinals in a group of "final four" landing spots along with the Miami Dolphins, Washington Redskins and New York Jets.

Seven days later, Schefter still has four teams as "finalists", but the suspects have changed. Schefter now favors Denver and Tennessee, with Miami and Arizona still in consideration, at least in his eyes.

"I think that the Dolphins and the Cardinals are in the second category and I think the Broncos and the Titans are in the first category," Schefter said Wednesday on Mike and Mike on ESPN Radio.

Tennessee's status as a favorite comes as somewhat of a surprise as they got into the process later than the other three teams Manning is reportedly considering. But Schefter believes the Titans have a lot going for them in this recruitment.

"[Manning's] familiar with the area. He loves the area, he'd be in the AFC, he would get to play the Colts twice a year, they have a great offensive line," Schefter said on Sportscenter Wednesday. "There's a lot that Tennessee offers and (owner) Bud Adams will do anything it takes to get this deal done."

    Speculation
In the end, NO ONE knows where he will go until he says. These are all opinions with nothing based on fact. When Manning signs the dotted line, then we'll all know. Until then, pure speculation.

    He's a Card
The Cards are flying under the radar being very low key about this whole thing. ( Everyone else is being bombastic ) I don't listen to any of these so called "Expert Insiders". I really think what these guys try to do is influence people ( ie. players ) by creating fabrications. I would like to see the look on Schefter's face when Peyton picks up the phone and calls the Cards !! The only reason he's kept the Cards in the mix is because he's got an idea that somethings up between them and Manning. ( Can't wait to hear all the back-peddling !! )

All the talk concerning PM boils down to this:
The Nat'l media has no idea where PM is going outside of his ovbious visits. What is known for sure is that the Nat'l media HATES the Cards and disrespects this organization with every single article that seeks to denegrate the redbirds chances of landing PM. Your bias is showing Nat'l know nothings and you have been exposing yourselves as "haters" rather than knowledgeable insiders. Whatever these gasbags are being paid it is way to much.

    Why not tackles?
Regardless of whether PM comes here or not, this team needs a couple of tackles in FA cuz the best ones in the draft will be gone b4 their 1st pick. Demetrius Bell? Come on! This is ridiculous. How about bringing in Gaither or Winston or even a trade? Forget about converting guards. Been there, done that.

    Schefter who?
Anybody that listens to sports radio knows that nobody believes this man and says he has never done anything but spit out what somebody else already said.

    Waisting Time!!
Manning! Manning! Manning! We sound like Jan Brady (Brady Bunch) Waisting valuable Free Agency time and loosing great available players to other teams while we hold all our cards in hopes of landing PM. Improve the O-line i promise Kolb will look like the player we expected him to be. Get a #2 reciever, their quickly moving on the market and if we wait any longer we will be stuck with Doucet/Roberts #2/#3, we saw how that all worked out last season. DB's (Marshall), Linebackers and any1 else we need to get this team locked down and make a run for the ring.
