The Arizona Cardinals, according to numerous reports, have re-signed free agent offensive lineman D'Anthony Batiste.

Batiste is a 6-year pro out of Louisiana-Lafayette who signed as a free agent with the Cardinals in November 2010.

The 6-foot-4, 314-pound Batiste was active for four games in 2011, and got in the field in one, playing 44 snaps in a 34- 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. +

isn't impressing anyone. He used to be a hot commodity, but my sense is everyone has caught on to his inability to improve the Cards Oline. I'm starting to think he is just plain lazy. He was at the end of his contract and there were zero buzz on teams considering him for an OC, or HC position. I think he's happy being "retired" and collecting a check from the Cards. Zero impact.
