The Cardinals won't be looking for a new kicker anytime soon.

The team announced Friday it has agreed to a two-year contract with Jay Feely, who spent the last two seasons in Arizona.

The 35-year-old is coming off a season that was a little disappointing, as he connected on just 79.2 percent of his field goal attempts (19 of 24), which is is the fourth- lowest mark of his career.

However, he has converted on 43 of 51 attempts with the Cardinals, and has not missed an extra point over the last two years.

Initially I was jazzed about this signing...

    This was a bad mistake!
The re-signing of Feely has me Feely BAD! Of all the kickers from the time that the Red Birds have chosen Arizona to set up their nest, Feely has to be the worse kicker in our history. I can give anyone on the team a break, untill THAT individual starts to cost us games--which Feely has on more than one occassion. Surely the Bidwells HAVE had their scouts looking over players! They couldn't find ANYONE better than him? Are any of the Zendejas brothers still kicking? What about their Mom? ANY ONE in that family is surley better than Feely!
