Last offseason it was reported that Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald wanted the team to trade for Eagles QB Kevin Kolb.

The Cardinals ended up trading for Eagles QB Kevin Kolb.

This offseason, according to Sports Illustrated's Peter King, Fitz has his sights set on another player who would help the team's offense.

Speaking of the Cards, I talked to Larry Fitzgerald over the weekend. Let's just say he wants fellow Minnesotan Michael Floyd with that 13th pick. Badly ...

King notes he's heard the Cardinals are interested in Georgia lineman Cordy Glenn, which while filling a need, would be a somewhat underwhelming pick.

Floyd, on the other hand, would give the Cardinals the number two receiver they've lacked since trading Anquan Boldin to the Ravens before the 2010 season.

At 6-foot-3 and 224 pounds, Floyd would fit in well opposite Fitzgerald, giving the team a pair of big-play receiving threats.

Floyd tallied 100 receptions for 1,147 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior for Notre Dame, and scored 37 touchdowns over the course of his four-year career with the school.

    What a contrived article Mr. Green. Don't care for the manipulative spin you put on this subject (as if Larry has a vote)of the draft. Plus, Floyd is a stretch for the Cards. As in he does not stretch the field with his under-whelming speed. Nor am I sure that he will be able to get seperation in the Pro's. We definitely do not need another Stephen Williams on our roster. Granted Floyd's hands are better but Stephen is faster.

    He would be the flashy pick - I dont mind it. Obviously it would be nice to fill a tackle slot, but honestly none of them avaliable are worth the 13th pick.. Id be OK if Rieff fell to them, but the rest are low first round at the best. Stings that we dont have that second rounder

    Im willing to put down this years salary Peter King never even spoke with Fitz. He is an unknowing jizz bag. Or the conversation went like "Hey fitz what do you think of Floyd?" "Hes got size, would be good to play along side with him"

    It's one thing to have bias against and not like a certain player, but to post blatant falsities is another thing entirely. I wonder what you think of Blackmon as a WR then, considering he is smaller, slower, and weaker than Floyd.

    Everyone that said that fitz had bad pick with picking kevin kolb. Well... I am saying that once you see what fitz is doing in the games you wouldn't say anthing. I believe that the cardinals should trade down and get michael floyd because he has the size like fitz. Or trade way down to get Justin blackmon. I've seen him live at the fiesta bowl he was incredible. He was like a young calvin johnson. No one could catch him or tackle him we don't want him to go to st.louis against patrick peterson. So trade down to get Justin Blackmon number 1 wr or Michael floyd 2 wr...

    The Cardinals need to just evaluate where they were the weakest across the entire season and fill that need. I am not for making a flashy pick just for the sake of doing it. For example, if their data shows that they got beat continually on the offensive line then they should pick the best offensive lineman available. Picking another wide receiver isn't going to do anything for the team.
