The Arizona Cardinals selected offensive guard/defensive tackle Senio Kelemete from the University of Washington with the 151st pick overall Saturday.

Kelemete will likely be lined up as a guard with the Arizona Cardinals, despite playing multiple positions through his career in Washington.

Kelemete is a great athlete for his size, who gets off the ball quickly.

He received All-Pac 12 Conference second-team honors in 2011.

The UW captain was also the recipient of the Fred Jacoby Sportsmanship Award at the Valero Alamo Bowl and was named the John P. Angel Offensive Lineman of the Year Award at the team's postseason banquet.

Having previously received action in eight games as a defensive tackle during his freshman season, Kelemete shifted to the offensive line with new staff arrival in 2009.

He started 41-of-45 games at Washington - 26 at left offensive tackle, eleven at right offensive guard and four at left defensive tackle.

Kelemete started all thirteen games at left offensive tackle in 2011, where he led the Huskies with a career-high 106 knockdowns while delivering thirteen touchdown-resulting blocks.

    Good... Pick... I guessss?
We obviously didnt get any O Lineman from FA. I agree with getting them in the draft. In my opinion, QB's & WR's make the fastest impact on a team offensively. Once our QB's and WR's start making plays it'll give the O line some motivation. The O line holds some accountability for the sorry pass game our QB's and WR's had last season. But honesty... A lot of that blame has be taken by the QB's. Simple and plain, they're accuracy was horrible. The WR's werent getting open. Its not all of the O Lines fault.

    I'm a little concerned...
...that they picked for need here and reached because of it. That said, I also think there's a possibility that Kelemete proves to be the sleeper pick in this draft. Because he's been bounced around so much to different positions in college he's never really gotten to focus on one position, and its possible that stability could improve his game. Just a thought, regardless he does bring some depth to a position that sorely needed it for the Cards. Don't love the pick, but he's a player I'm going to keep my eye on the next couple years.
