The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to terms with fourth- round pick Bobby Massie, making him the first of their 2012 Draft class to sign.

The news was broken by Massie himself.

Massie was a three-year starter at Mississippi, and may very well start at right tackle for the Cardinals this season.

However, he fell to the fourth for a reason, and while the Cardinals are certainly glad he did, there is no guarantee he'll be ready to go when the season begins September 9.

i think there will be some good things coming out of him in the future. The biggest thing for this offensive line will be to not shoot itself in the foot (false starts), and to play as a team. With the veteran leadership in the guards, if everyone stays healthy it could work out as an at least serviceable line that gives Kolb/Skelton enough time to get the ball to all the offensive weapons.

This guy will be a dominant force for us! He dominated in the SEC & will be awesome for us! He slipped in the draft not because of ability but because of strength. It is obvious that guys get bigger, stronger faster when they arrive in the NFL. They've have the best of everything as far as equipment, training staff, & of course John freakin Lott!

I like that they are getting these top picks under contract. Can't wait to see how well he does this year
