The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed veteran defensive end
Vonnie Holliday.
Acquired by the Cardinals last July in a trade that sent Tim Hightower to the Redskins, Holliday played in all 16 games and recorded 16 tackles in 2011.
Holliday provides leadership and experience, as he will be entering his 15th NFL season this year. He's collected 654 tackles and 62.5 sacks.
Before joining the Cardinals Holliday spent time in Washington, Miami, Kansas City and Green Bay.
The Cardinals released defensive end Conrad Obi to make room for Holliday.
