No one has to tell you the Arizona Cardinals' offensive line has struggled this season.

You have eyes, after all.

Still, to see it so officially, so statistically true is a bit disturbing, but that's exactly what ProFootballFocus.com has done.

The site produced its "Offensive Line Rankings: Week 10 Update" story, and it should come as no surprise that the Cardinals rank 32nd out of 32 teams.

According to their metrics, Arizona is league-worst in both run and pass blocking, and 21st in penalties.

Yep things haven't got much better for the Cardinals who by some distance still have the worst offensive line in the league. Nate Potter got some action and it's unlikely we've seen the last of him as D'Anthony Batiste is still our worst ranked tackle in the league by some distance. How this line remains such a mess is in excusable.

The Cardinals, who were off this week, may be making a change at left tackle by replacing Batiste with Potter. However, it remains to be seen if that will be enough to fix what has become arguably the least-effective unit in the entire NFL.

    Grimm
That is the name of the o line coach and the state of affairs of the offence. I can't understand why Grimm and Graves are still collecting pay checks.

At what point does Michael grow a pair and force Grimm out and pony up for OL FA's and demand OT's be taken in the top 3 rounds of the draft? Whiz should have his say in personnel matters diminished significantly.

    JOKE!
This has been by far the worst O-Line play I’ve had the displeasure of watching and falls directly on the coaching staff and GM. The best FA we could muster was a backup guard the Niners didn’t value? Manning knew full well the Cards O-Line sucked, too bad the staff didn’t hire Payton as a consultant! This team needs all the draft picks they can acquire “Through Trade†and start building a legitimate line!

"How this line remains such a mess is in excusable [sic]." Perhaps their top 2 tackles being injured in preseason had something to do with it? Granted, they certainly haven't done very well with the line over the past few years, but not many teams are going to have a top-rated line playing backups at both tackle positions. That has to be taken into consideration.

Ill give you that injuries play a factor. But you cant tell me Bridges would be a starter on many other teams, and you cant tell me Brown would be a LT on many other teams. If they are healthy, perhaps they arent worst in the NFL, but they would still be bottom tier.

    Trade Fitz ?
They need 2 Tackles and a Guard. Mesamadman is right, Brown and Bridges aren't good enough to stop the bleeding. Snyder was a smart move to gain intell on the 49ers offense for Ray Horton, but, most of all, it was a cheap move. Hes over the hill. Bottom line is Cards dont have the Line OR the QB for pass 1st run 2nd. Cards need to run 1st & pass 2nd for Kolb or Skelton (or whoever our QB is) to get into a rythm. Roberts and Floyd are our future anyways. Keeping Fitz just cause hes 1 of the best WRs isnt justification to pass up on improving your football team.

    Trade Fitz 2 ?
Only way they get keep Fitz and get better at the same time is if they get 2 of those Tackles and/or that Guard in Free Agency (the 3rd at the top of the draft). But Larry's salary has their hands tied, so, irregardless of Mr Bidwill's memo to the fans about his commitment to winning, the Cards are still looking for the cheap way out, as evident per this years Free Agent acquisitions. If they're looking to rebuild this O Line the cheap way, trading Larry for those high draft picks, is the only way to do it. Otherwise Mr Bidwell, PUT UP OR SHUT UP.
