The Cardinals are coming off their worst loss in franchise history, following a 58-0 beatdown by the Seahawks in Seattle on Sunday.

In the loss, starting quarterback John Skelton threw four interceptions and left the game in the third quarter with a QB rating of 0.4, which is the second lowest by any player in a game this season.

"It will be a tough film to watch," Skelton said. "There's a lot of mistakes that need to be corrected. There's a lot of stuff that's wrong that needs to get fixed. So I think we'll take that approach in [Monday's] meetings."

During this current nine game losing streak, the Cardinals have been outscored 231 to 95. Skelton has started six games this season and according to ESPN, his overall QBR is 13.9 in 2012.

"After a 58-nothing loss like that it's hard to come into work. Whether we like it or not, we're playing those next three games," Skelton said. "I think guys have enough pride to come out and still work and still try to get better for the rest of the year."

Through this rough stretch the Cardinals' rankings have plummeted. They are 28th in the league in passing yards and 32nd in rushing.

Despite the team's struggles and inconsistencies, Skelton said the guys in this locker room still believe in head coach Ken Whisenhunt.

"You know when the chips get down, that's when a lot of these rumors start to come out," Skelton stated. "I don't think any of those rumors started inside the locker room or guys are pointing fingers or anything."

The Cards have just three games left on the schedule hosting the Lions this weekend, the Bears on the 23rd and then traveling to San Francisco to face the 49ers to wrap up the season on the 30th.

"It's rough. It just seems like it's been one of those years where anything that can go wrong, will go wrong," Skelton said. "Just gotta take everything in stride and keep on working. Guys are going to continue to come to work as long as they tell us to, so we'll see."

as long as they tell them their checks will be waiting. To say the team hasn't given up after the performance yesterday, and to say they support the coach still? I sure didn't see that during any part of the beat down yesterday. The entire team has quit. Actions speak louder than words.

    Hey, Cris Carter....
Still think Kolb is the worst QB on the roster? You wish Skelton could have been your QB when you played? Idiot...

    pride?
pride means nothing when you cant play error free ball, make mental mistakes. we dont care about pride we care about players not making mistakes, making blocks, catches, etc.

    they havent lost pride
what grown man do you know lost pride in what they do? i think they are very proud of where they are today. all of them are upset. They started 4-0 and are now 4-9. frustration mixes your emotions. then its a snowball effect. players start questioning the coaching, their leadership, themselves etc. I dont think its the players at all. There are 52 physically talented and gifted athletes that show up to work to win a SB. The coaches are suppose to lead them there. The offensive coaches aren't doing there jobs at player management and game management. Fire em all & start over!

    RE: ADub
Dont bench him! Obviously he isnt as good in the pass coverage no more, but, he's a solid pass rusher. Why don't you make him a OLB to rush the passer??? Hes fast and strong enough for LB coverage assignments. Just not fast enough for a Strong Safety's coverage assignments. He'd be better than your average Pass Rushing Linebacker.

    Trick played out
Twice they put a safety blitz on with Wilson. Twice the man coming across the middle went for 30+ yards. Gay was suppose to drop to the middle zone coverage, each time he was 10 yards off the line moving forward instead of dropping back. Need to forget about that stunt for awhile.

    Pride
Huh... They have pride in how they play. As an indivdual not as a team. I think rhodes put it best. "I am playing the best I can so that I can play again next year". Next year this is his contract year and he's planning on going somewhere else. He could care less how the team does just how he looks. If any of them could perform a buy the book tackle and stop a running back they wouldn't have looked so pathetic on Sunday.

    Technique
I tell me football team watch the NFL and see ho not to tackle and cover receivers. Arms and big hits do nothing if the spin and keep going. wrapping up and taking them to the ground stop a play. Since the play for pay maybe this week they don't get the pay. The defense is good to be great get rid of the "HITS" and make tackles.
