Daryl Washington might be disappointed that he's an NFC team alternate for the 2013 Pro Bowl, but the Arizona Cardinals inside linebacker has at least one honor to hang his hat on.

Friday, NFL.com writer Bucky Brooks announced his 2012 All-Pro team, and Washington was the lone Cardinal to make the list.

In just his third year in the league, Washington led Arizona in tackles (108), tackles for a loss (8) and sacks (9). The former second-selection should be in the Valley for years to come, as he signed a new six-year deal in September worth $32.5 million.

In addition to Washington, the NFC West was well-represented on Brooks' team with Marshawn Lynch, Anthony Davis, Mike Iupoti, NaVorro Bowman, Aldon Smith, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Dashon Goldson.

    Good for him
Dude knows nothing but 100% on the field and is fun to watch play the game. 32mil is a steal in this day and age. I was stoked when he resigned knowing it would cost the Cards much more in the future if they didn't pull the trigger on that deal.

    NFC West Defenses
are no longer going to be the laughing stocks of the NFL. Next year when anyone plays SF, SEA, STL, or AZ they're going to have their work cut out for them. Although STL and most of all AZ have a lot of catching up to SF and SEA OFFENSIVELY, our defenses in this division are not a laughing matter.
