It appears Bruce Arians has added yet another member to his coaching staff.

Lance Zierlein, who broke the news, is Larry Zierlein's son. So it stands to reason this report is fairly accurate.

As for the elder Zierlein, he spent time as Pittsburgh's offensive line coach from 2007-2009, and before that was with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns in a similar capacity.

    Great Move!!
It's no wonder why the Cards O-Line sucked during Whiz's tenyear after reading an article that said Grimm was the only one working with them. They needed a lot of work and he left the job to one man, that's crazy!! Now if they can draft a couple more quality linemen I think good things will happen for the offense. Now hurry up and lets get to the draft and free agency!!

    judgment
i will wait to judge all the moves until after we seen some game action, but so much for shedding the pittsburgh west label. could be even worse now then it was before!

    Less about the label
I'm with you mesa mad man, I want to see if all these moves actualy pay off come game day. And for this, I don't really care about being labeled as "Pittsburgh West", as long as the Lombardi eventually makes its way to the valley. Glad to see the increased emphasis on the O-line though, guessing a league leading 58 sacks allowed was the main concern. Give our QBs a chance back there, open something up for the running game.

    PittWest
My problem with Pittsburgh West is that the guys we brought over in the first round that had won a ring had two good seasons here. now we are on the second run of coaches that really werent in positions of power when the team won anything

Don't forget that the Steelers made the Super Bowl in 2011 (2010 season) when Arians was OC and some of the other coaches were there.

    Can u say O-LINE..!
If this doesn't improve the O-Line dont know what will, it might take a couple of years to evaluate players. To compete with Seatte and San Fransisco you MUST HAVA A RUNNING ATTACH...

    Tough year ahead
I think it will be a tough year especially on the defensive side of the ball. With the 9ers and Hawks having the chance to "fine tune" their zone read pistol option, we'll be completely changing the defense with a DC that has not defended the zone read much outside of 2 games against Washington. I wish Arians would've considered the Cardinals opponents & the schemes they run before making his DC selection. They should hire a consultant who's had success against this type of offense.
