FILE - In this May 31, 2012, file photo, New York Jets quarterbacks Mark Sanchez, left, and Tim Tebow workout during NFL football practice in Florham Park, N.J. Likely done in New York after one frustrating season and Jacksonville already saying no to a happy homecoming, what's next for Tebow, one of the league's most popular and polarizing players? A backup role on another NFL team? A position change? The Canadian Football League? Well, even Tebow isn't sure.(AP Photo/Julio Cortez, File)
The Arizona Cardinals have a huge problem on their hands at the quarterback position this offseason, and Mike Florio of NBC Sports' ProFootballTalk.com has a suggestion to help solve their problems under center.

"They want Kevin Kolb to stick around but I think they have to look elsewhere," Florio said. "I actually heard at one point, that maybe, the Arizona Cardinals would be interested in Tim Tebow, that was last year."

It may have been last year, but Florio thinks Tebow should still remain an option for Bruce Arians and Co.

"We'll see what happens this year, whether he's in the mix," said Florio. "But I'll tell you Tim Tebow is better than any of the guys they have on their roster.

"I know a lot of people out there don't like Tim Tebow as a football player, but you let him do his thing and he could be good enough, better than what the Cardinals have had in recent years at the quarterback position. The quarterback position has been awful."

True, the Cardinals got miserable play from their QBs last season, but it's tough to see Tebow as the answer. His only season in the Big Apple saw him complete 6 of 8 passes for 39 yards, and when the Jets replaced Mark Sanchez at QB they turned to 2011 seventh round pick Greg McElroy.

For his career, Tebow has completed 47.9 percent of his passes for 2,422 yards and 17 touchdowns. He's been intercepted nine times and run for 989 yards and 12 scores.

And while he was recently in Arizona working out, it's quite frankly difficult to see the Cardinals, who are actually looking to find a good quarterback, choosing Tebow.

    Florio must dislike Arian's
I can only assume that Mr. Florio has a beef with B.A. and wants to create turmoil in the organization by spreading conspiracy theories. I cannot think of any other motive to make such a stupid comment.

    I think He's Work Out
The dude's in good shape and I think he could last longer than Kolb could ever last. Kolb is a "Brittle Individual" and should be in the pizza business. Nice rubber shoes and a red and white striped shirt would make more sense for him. You can't argue that as his past 3 years have proven that, so yes give Tebow a shot I think. We'll see what happens I guess what this new coach does whoever he is????

PLEASE BRING TIM TEBOW TO THE CARDINALS
This would be all kinds of awesome. For one thing, Cardinal games would be exciting to watch again. Secondly, the Cardinals would start winning...and winning...and WINNING!!! Thirdly, the combination of Tim Tebow & Larry Fitzgerald on the same team is potentially dangerous to any opposing team. The team who puts their faith in Tim Tebow, and builds an offense around him to set him (and the team) up for success will be richly rewarded. I pray that team is the Arizona Cardinals.

    Circus
There's no way the Bidwills want the kind of circus that would accompany TT, even assuming the coaching staff felt there was MAYBE a place for him on the roster. Let's pretend this suggestion of Tebow to the Cards never was floated.

    Cards need Tebow and T'eo
Manti T'eo will probably be available to them in the 2nd round. They should take him and sign Tebow. Two excellent moves for the team and will create buzz and interest.
