Every day, we at ArizonaSports.com ask our readers a question. It’s the Sanderson Ford Poll Question of the Day, and it can be found midway down the right side of our home page.
On Monday, we asked Cardinals fans whom they’d choose for the game MVP in Arizona’s 30-10 win over the Rams on Sunday.
The choices were John Abraham (3 sacks, 1 safety), Karlos Dansby (8 tackles, 1 sack, interception return for TD), Carson Palmer (27-of-32 for 269 yards and one TD), Larry Fitzgerald (12 catches, 96 yards, 1 TD) and Dave Zastudil (three punts inside 20-yard line).
Somewhat surprisingly, the fans chose the always divisive Palmer with 36 percent of the 625 votes cast.
Palmer hit on 84 percent of his passes — the second-highest mark in Cardinals’ team history. Not bad for a guy who didn’t throw a pass in practice all week leading up to Sunday’s contest.
