It’s starting to sound like a broken record, but every week we talk about how the Arizona Cardinals do just enough to win.
This week, it was two touchdown passes from Drew Stanton to Michael Floyd in the first nine minutes of the game and a stout defensive performance the rest of the way as the Cardinals beat the Detroit Lions 14-6 to move to 9-1 on the season.
The win was the Cardinals’ third in the last four weeks against a division-leading team. On Oct. 26, they knocked off the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles 24-20. The very next week, Arizona took down the Dallas Cowboys 28-17.
