The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that defensive end Ed Stinson was headed for the team’s injured reserve with a toe injury.
Taking Stinson’s place on the team’s 53-man roster will be wide receiver Brittan Golden, who previously held a position on the team’s practice squad.
Stinson, a rookie, has played in 10 games for the Cardinals this season, starting in two, and has recorded nine tackles and a pass deflection.
Golden, 26, played in five games for the Cardinals last season, serving primarily as a deep threat while catching four passes for 136 yards, including one for 63 yards.
Running back Zac Bauman has been re-signed to the team’s practice squad.
