The Arizona Cardinals were preparing for their final regular-season game in San Francisco Sunday, but that may not have been the biggest matter on the minds of the 49ers.
FOX Sports reporter Bruce Feldman said a source confirmed San Francisco head coach Jim Harbaugh will become Michigan’s new head coach.

Harbaugh took the 49ers to a 13-3 record and NFC Championship game in his first season as head coach and a Super Bowl the next.
His 69.8 winning percentage is the best of all time of any coach who has spent just four years in the NFL, despite a four-game losing streak in 2014. With a loss to the Cardinals today, his winning percentage would rank 10th on the list of winning percentage by a head coach in NFL history.
