If Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles accepts one of the numerous head coaching positions he’s likely to be offered, most fans wouldn’t mind seeing former Pittsburgh Steelers DC Dick LeBeau take his place.
In Monday’s Sanderson Ford Poll Question of the Day, we asked: If Todd Bowles leaves, would you like to see Dick LeBeau as the Cardinals’ next DC?
The response was overwhelming: Over 70 percent of the 500-plus voters said they’d welcome the 77-year-old LeBeau into the fold.
LeBeau, who announced Sunday he had resigned as the Steelers’ DC, has reportedly talked with Cardinals coach Bruce Arians about signing on with Arizona. LeBeau would bring over 40 years of NFL coaching experience to the desert.
