Another NFL insider has reported the Arizona Cardinals may be interested in the services of Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller.

Yahoo! Sports’ Rand Getlin reported Friday that the Cards are among the teams who may pursue Spiller, a five-year pro who the Bills selected with the ninth overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Getlin’s report comes three days after ESPN’s Josina Anderson reported the Cardinals may be interested in bringing the 5-foot-11, 200-pound Spiller on board.

Six other teams, including the NFC West division rival San Francisco 49ers, have also expressed interest in Spiller, according to Getlin.

Spiller will become eligible to join another team when the free agency signing period begins Tuesday.

The 27-year-old has 5,550 all-purpose yards in his NFL career but just one 1,000-yard rushing season (1,244 yards in 2012). He had 300 rushing yards on 78 carries to go with 19 receptions for 125 yards last season, but he missed seven games with a broken collarbone.

Spiller could be one of the odd men out in the Buffalo backfield, as the Bills traded for former Philadelphia Eagles star tailback LeSean McCoy earlier this week.

The Cardinals have also been rumored to be possible destinations for Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray.
