The Cardinals will be squaring off with the Chiefs for the 24th time in the preseason, but for only the second time in Arizona since 1995.
The Chargers will be heading to Arizona for their fifth preseason visit since University of Phoenix Stadium opened in 2006, and the game will mark the sixth time in the last nine preseasons the teams have faced off.
The Sunday night game in Oakland will be Arizona’s first national TV matchup this season, and it is followed by the Cardinals’ 10th preseason tilt with the Broncos in the past 12 seasons.
