Kobe Bryant is a Suns killer.

Bryant lit up the Suns for 48 points in Lakers' win Tuesday night, his highest single-game point total in the regular season since he scored 49 against the Suns on March 1, 2009.

In fact, Tuesday's output marked the 9th time in 45 games since 2004 (when Nash returned to the Valley) and 11th time in his career that Bryant has scored 40 or more in a game against Phoenix. It definitely appears that Bryant has it out for the Suns.

"I don't like them, I don't like them, it is plain and simple," Bryant said. "I do not like them, they used to whoop us pretty good and used to let us know about it, and I will not forget that."

In the span between Shaquille O'Neal's departure in 2004 and the Lakers acquiring Pau Gasol in February of 2008, the Lakers went 8-19 against the Suns, including the playoffs.

The Suns look to avenge their defeat to the Lakers in a rematch at Staples Center on February 17th.

    So...
You don't like a team that has two of the most respected veteran's in the league...yet you enjoy sodomy, settling out of court and purchasing large diamonds to "erase" your mistakes? Sounds like you have everthing figured out. Hope you don't get a sunburn in Hell, creep.

    Could be wrong
I got a feeling that it irked Kobe to see Sarver sitting 2 chairs from Jack Nicholson. That is like fraternizing with the enemy. Sure would like to see the Suns get riled up like that. I think that is one of the missing ingredients on their team. Too passive! Show some passion!

    Fine by me
I think Kobe is one of the greatest players of all time, but by all accounts he is a miserable human being. He's just about out of his prime, his wife is taking half of his fortune and all will be in balance one again

    Kobe Cryant
Who cares what Kobe thinks! The guy is a jerk of a human being. Sure he can put the ball in the basket but his ego is so big, I'm surprised his head can get through the Staples Center door! Someday when he's old and forgotten, who will care. He's no better than anyone else. He puts his pants on the same way. It's all the shallow Laker fans that make him think he's better than anybody else. If we beat him down next time, I'm sure he will have a good excuse. BTW, what kind of name is Kobe? Lol!

    If Kobe had a fraction
of the character that Steve or Grant had, it would propel him out of the subterranean bottoms where his soul lurks. In reality, he dislikes the Suns because Grant and Nash embody everything that he wishes he could be, only he is too much of a coward to walk that same path. It it easier to knock the thing he will never have, grace and dignity.

Kobe would give his right arm to be in a Suns uniform and he just won't admit it. Someday before he retires I'll betcha he is a Phoenix Sun. We don't want him here but I think it's in the cards that he ends up here.
