If there's one thing the Phoenix Suns have proven over the last couple years, it's that you can never have too many wing players.

With that in mind, the team is apparently interested in adding another, as a report out of Cleveland says the Suns are "in the lead for Alonzo Gee's services." At least, according to SLAMonline writer and Cavaliers blogger Brendan Bowers.

The 24-year-old Gee is coming off his best season as a pro, averaging 10.6 points and 5.1 rebounds in 29 minutes- per-game.

The 6-foot-6, 219 pounder is a career 43-percent shooter, who hits .345 from three-point range. He'll be a restricted free agent, meaning the Cavs can match any offer he signs with another team.

He's played for Washington, San Antonio and Cleveland throughout his career, which began after the undrafted free agent signed with the Wizards in 2010.

Would love to have Gee as a Sun - dont think we would get him for $4 million. Cavs would match that in a heartbeat i think

    Why?
10.6 and 5 rebounds? What does that do? We got a lot of guys who can do that.

    Alonzo Gee?
Really?? Why does this remind me of the summer after Amare said adios? Please, Sarver, hurry up and move the Suns to San Diego. Watching their dead corpse twitch around just makes me sad.
