NBA free agency starts in less than a week, and the Phoenix Suns have seven expiring contracts, including face of the franchise Steve Nash, perimeter defender Grant Hill and three year center Robin Lopez.

Whether these players re-sign or not, it is almost guaranteed that there will be spots on the depth chart Phoenix will need to fill.

With Nash's future in orange and purple an uncertainty and the Suns out of the Deron Williams race, Phoenix may need to look at other options to step in at point guard.

Thursday's NBA Draft offers some exciting rookie prospects, but nobody knows what Suns GM Lance Blanks will do with the 13th pick.

Arizona Sports 620's John Gambadoro expects the Suns to look at a couple of players at the position, as well as other free agents who could be Suns targets.

I Love this team but I did not go to a game last year due to the team being boring.. and from the looks of it I wont support Sarver again. This team has no direction! Just boring

    Dragic and Ilyasova
The Suns should only consider Ilyasova and Dragic if they can't resign Nash. These two players, along with Frye and Dudley, would be a good base, as long as the team can make a move in free agency next year, a splash in the draft next year, or a lop-sided trade in the spirit of Barkley.

    Busts
Every one of them busts. Dragic has gotten better? If he has why aren't the Rockets interested in keeping him? Dragic still can't dribble worth a crap and he's an average streak shooter at that.

    Depressing....
Phoenix has gone from being a prime free agent destination to a team that has to over pay for people to come play here.

    Prime Free Agent Destination
I dont know about that - who were the prime free agents they got other than steve nash and tom chambers? Almost every talented player we have had has come over via trade. Phoenix is not glamerous market like New York or LA and therefore is never going to attract the big names

    Add more players please!!!!
If the suns do not draft a SG I would love to see them go after ***CJ Miles(7 veteran who is only 24 Years old), Brandon Rush, Jodie Meek (Excellent Shooter), or OJ Mayo. I also think they should go after a SF in the free agency like Alonzo Gee or Danny Green. Best Free Agent PF for SUNS - JJ Hickson or Carl Landry Best free agent C for Suns - Jason Thompson or Spencer Hawes Best free agent PG for Suns - Dragic, Brooks, or George Hill

    Sound like
more of the same type of players we already have, a bunch of guys who would come off of the bench for half the teams in the league. Outside of Illyasove, Dragic and maybe Mayo, I don't see anyone worth go after, especially if you are looking for starters.
