Where will free agent point guard Steve Nash land? As late as Monday, it looked like the Toronto Raptors had given Nash an offer that could be filed in the "no-brainer" category. Three years, around $36 million -- or a higher yearly salary than Nash cleared during his prime years in Phoenix.

But ESPN's Chris Broussard, who appeared on ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike Tuesday morning, says there's still a chance for Nash to end his career in the Valley of the Sun.

"He may talk with Phoenix (Tuesday)," Broussard said. "The Suns would like Steve back at a certain price, really about $20 million over two years. If they can't get him for that, they're willing to move on with younger players."

One of those younger players, of course, is point guard Kendall Marshall, whom the Suns picked with the 13th overall selection in last week's NBA Draft.

Broussard's parameters are in conflict with what Arizona Sports 620's Paul Calvisi tweeted Monday, suggesting that the Suns were offering only $12 million on a two-year deal.

During the days leading up to the start of free agency, Nash did indicate that money would be an important factor in where he decides to sign his next contract. Broussard echoed those sentiments.

"If all things were equal in terms of money, he would like to go to Phoenix," he said. "They may not offer him that. Toronto's got a three-year deal worth about $34 million on the table."

And there's still a possibility of Nash heading to the Big Apple to play for the Knicks despite that franchise's seemingly steep financial hurdles.

"It would have to be a sign-and-trade with Phoenix so Steve could get the money that he would want," Broussard said. "That's possible because he does like New York."
